A SLIP-THROUGH IN REALITY
My paintings are visions from the True World.
I permanently ask myself what a situation actually means – and my paintings are my answer. My figures are hybrids between belonging and dissolution, between what one is and what one thinks to be. Some of them are part of an entirely different world, an older, timeless world that is beautiful and terrible and always there, whether one perceives it or not.
I paint what lives beneath the surface – before we began to know.

Meine Bilder sind Visionen aus der Echten Welt.
Ich stelle mir permanent die Frage, was eine Situation eigentlich bedeutet – und meine Bilder sind meine Antwort.
Meine Figuren sind Hybride zwischen Zugehörigkeit und Auflösung, zwischen dem was man ist und dem was man denkt zu sein. Einige von ihnen sind Teil einer ganz anderen Welt, einer älteren, zeitlosen Welt, die schön und schrecklich und immer da ist, ob man sie wahrnimmt oder nicht.
Ich male, was unter der Oberfläche lebt – bevor wir anfingen zu wissen.
